Hillywood Art Gallery- Haarlem
Hillywood Art Gallery is an artist-run gallery located at Leeghwaterstraat 13 in Haarlem. The gallery presents a curated programme of contemporary digital and mixed-media works, with a strong focus on image, ornament and imagination.
The gallery is founded and directed by artist Annika Versloot-van der Velden, whose work is characterised by digitally composed visual worlds that draw on historical references — including the Dutch Masters, museum collections and ornamental traditions — translated into a refined contemporary language.
Hillywood Art Gallery functions both as exhibition space and studio, allowing visitors to experience new series at close range and to engage with the development of the work over time.
Exhibitions & Salons
Alongside exhibitions, Hillywood Art Gallery hosts The Salons: small-scale, curated gatherings where art is combined with conversation, music or readings. These moments are conceived as extensions of the exhibition programme, offering visitors a deeper encounter with the work in an intimate setting.
