SANNEKE VLAM

Ceramics & Sculptural Objects

Sanneke Vlam is a Haarlem-based ceramic artist whose work combines traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to form, surface and design.

With a background in graphic design and illustration, she brings a distinctive visual sensibility to her ceramic practice. After studying ceramics at the Nederlandse Keramiekopleiding (NKO) in Gouda, she established her own studio, Klei Atelier Haarlem, in the historic centre of the city.

Her sculptural objects are characterised by carefully considered shapes, intricate surface details and a playful exploration of material and structure.

Through her work, Vlam transforms clay into objects that balance artistic expression, craftsmanship and imagination.
