ANASTASIIA PATRINA

Contemporary Painting & Graphic Design

Anastasiia Patrina is an Amsterdam-based artist whose work moves between contemporary painting and graphic design.

Currently studying Graphic Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy, she maintains an independent painting practice in acrylic, creating dreamlike compositions in which faces and figures emerge from flowing shapes and dissolve back into abstraction.

Guided by light, colour and intuition, her paintings explore the delicate boundaries between identity, imagination and transformation.

Her work has been exhibited at the Willem de Kooning Academy and White Label. In 2026, her graphic design was selected for tote bags produced for the Rijksmuseum's Willem de Kooning exhibition.

FEATURED ARTWORKS

For Metamorfose at Hillywood Art Gallery, Anastasiia Patrina presents two expressive acrylic paintings, Three Wishes and Goodboy888.

In her work, recognisable figures emerge from fluid compositions before dissolving into abstract forms. Light and colour guide the viewer through dreamlike spaces in which familiar shapes take on unexpected identities.

Her paintings offer a personal interpretation of metamorphosis as a continuous process of transformation and discovery.
